Social Activation
From LinkedIn Voice to Community Movement: Building Employer Content Club
I've run a social activation campaign for me and my business. And it has helped build my profile in the industry. It's turned my LinkedIn presence into a voice in the industry and helped me build a podcast, YouTube and Substack following, and an in-person community.
By strategically moving my audience through three touch points - LinkedIn, podcast content, and in-person events - I created Employer Content Club, a dedicated community for employer content practitioners.

Background
My Role: Founder & Host, Employer Content Marketing Podcast | Co-Founder, Employer Content Club
The Challenge: The employer branding space has lacked a dedicated community for in-house employer content leaders and practitioners. I saw an opportunity to activate my LinkedIn audience across multiple touch points - transforming followers into a thriving professional community.

My Three-Phase Journey [Activation]
Phase 1 - Social Foundation
I built credibility on LinkedIn by consistently sharing insights and engaging in conversations within the employer branding community, creating an audience of genuinely engaged professionals.
Phase 2 - Podcast Conversations
I launched the Employer Content Marketing podcast in 2020 that now lives on YouTube, Substack, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. It helped me convert followers into listeners. Over 140 episodes with 135+ guests, 700+ followers and 60,000+ streams, I expanded my reach while deepening audience relationships.
I partnered with Chris Murdoch (Employer Bland podcast) to launch Employer Content Club - bringing the digital community together for in-person events. We positioned it as "the ultimate self-help group for employer content pros."

Remembering The Social in Social Media
My social media has taken me beyond social media. It's given me the opportunity to be on stage, go to different countries and have some great conversations with amazing humans. So when it came to set up in-person events it was a natural next step.
