The Lean Employer Content Workshop
Frustrated about not having the time, headspace of budget to scale your employer content?
In most organisations, employer content creation falls to a single person, or it's just a fraction of someone's role in talent attraction or employer branding.
You're expected to produce compelling content that attracts talent, but you're doing it alongside a dozen or so other priorities. There's no dedicated content team, no big budget, and certainly no time for lengthy agency briefings.
You know authentic and scalable employer content matters, but you need the time to step back, and get a clear direction. You need a framework you can actually use when you've limited time to create content.
The Lean Employer Content Workshop is here to help - your framework to help you to plan and produce scalable content.

Building Internal Capability The Lean Way
At Content Marketing Pod, we believe in strategy that leads to action. This workshop gives you a proven framework to create employer content the lean way - designed for teams with limited time and resources.
You'll learn practical techniques and see examples to help you generate ideas, produce pilot content, and test what resonates with your target candidates.
But this isn't just theory - you'll apply the framework during the session through hands-on exercises, then take your learnings into a 2-week content sprint where you'll produce and publish real pilot content with facilitator feedback and support.

What You Get in The Lean Employer Content Workshop
Understand Marketing Forces
Your team will understand the marketing forces that are challenging employer branding teams.
We'll look at why traditional content approaches fail in employer branding and how in-house teams need to adapt.
This context is important when it comes to understanding the new normal in employer branding that's on the horizon.
Framework
Your team walks away with a practical understanding of the Lean Employer Content Framework.
This is a strategic system they can use repeatedly to create audience-first content that attracts and retains the talent you need. And it's backed by 20+ years of testing, adapting and scaling employer content.
We'll equip your team with production approaches that don't need to rely purely on heavy budgets, external agencies, or expensive equipment.
They'll learn how to create Minimum Viable Content that ships fast and tests real. And helps you scale your content production and your business case for further investment.

Frequently asked questions
How much does this cost?
This is a focused session that helps you take a step back from the day to day and look forward. It's half a day followed by post-workshop support to enable you implement your content ideas immediately. So this is a fraction of the cost if you were to engage a big team. We will talk about the level of investment needed at our initial feasibility call.
Will this work if we have limited budget and no production gear?
Yes. Your team will learn to create Minimum Viable Content using phones and simple remote tools, then scale what works. The lean approach is specifically designed to build internal capability without big budgets or ongoing agency support.
Can we tailor to a single priority job family?
Absolutely. We'll focus the exercises and examples on your priority job family. Your team will learn the framework through your real recruitment challenges.
Do we need an established EVP or Employer Branding Programme first?
No. We'll help your team connect existing messages to real employee stories and candidate questions to avoid generic content. If you have an EVP, we'll make it actionable. If not, we'll work with what makes your organisation genuinely different.
How does our team keep momentum after 2 weeks?
During the workshop, your team will define a simple cadence, assign roles, and establish metrics they can sustain. The optional follow-up call provides additional support as they build their capability and troubleshoot any blockers.
Who should attend from our organisation?
This workshop works best as a team experience for people in Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, or Marketing who are responsible for creating employer content. Up to 6 participants recommended so everyone can actively participate and build capability together.
